HOORAY for JANE!!! We have been potty training for about a week. Today I was down in my office and she came and got me and said, "Come on Mom, me did it." I went upstairs with her and she had taken HERSELF to the potty. This is a huge victory for us and I am very excited to be seeing positive results. A child who takes them self to the bathroom--WOW....I am loving it. I was hoping by mid week that she would at least be telling me when she needed to go instead of me just taking her all the time. I am very happy about her independence. I am sure we are not totally out of the woods, but I am seeing light at the end of this dark diaper tunnel we have been living in for 2+ years!

Yes, forget the 2 years. I have been changing diapers steady now for almost 8! YIKES. We have never been diaper free...so exciting
Congrats! That is the phase I dread from the time they are born. It is so frustrating and disgusting but all worth it when they are diaper free! Hey - Thanks for the great book suggestions.
