Viva Mexico

We went to Isla Mueres Mexico with the Sorensens after Christmas and it was absolute paradise!

We thought we enjoyed this dinner, but Josh spent the night puking it up.  Every time we go to Mexico, Josh spends one night puking...weak
Josh, Daniel, and Patrick (Josh's cousin).  I was so happy that Pat came on the trip with us this year.  He took Ben's place because Ben had to stay home with his girls.
New Years Eve and ALSO Gayleen's birthday bash!
Gay and I at Chichen Itza
Absolutely amazing how this was built!  We had an LDS tour guide, fittingly named Nephi who did such a great job.  We booked it through helamantours.com.  He had such great incite on the different ruins, and parallels to the teachings of the savior.  How the Mayans twisted things and how we twist what we know is right to fit into our lifestyles.
From the top of Ek Balam a fairly new set of ruins.  I was so scared climbing up.  It is taller than Chichen Itza and very steep!
 Holding a shark...only in Mexico!
We rented golf carts and Adam being the mechanic he is just happened to have some zip ties to hook to the governor and when you pulled on them you got FULL throttle!  It was hilarious
 Sorensen boys go diggin
On the beach falling in love all over again

Josh and I were being silly and taking jumping pics..this one turned out pretty well.
Double punch, double kick.  We were laughing SO hard and we were the only ones sober on the beach!
Having some more of a new favorite...lime soup (YUM) downtown! and of course Gelato

It was SO nice and warm in Mexico.  It was just perfect!  Sunny and hot everyday.  Isla Mueres is a little island just off the coast of Cancun.  Our resort was so nice.  The rooms were like an apartment.  We had a kitchen and living room, and a bedroom.  Marble, and a huge balcony looking onto the ocean with beach chairs and a table.  The beach was beautiful white sand and All inclusive is amazing...all the room service and food you could every want and non alcoholic margaritas of course!  We also visited some cenotes, which are under ground rivers that were incredible.  My mom and dad took such good care of our babies while we were gone.  Henry goes to the back door and cries for my Dad still and I had to get pointers from my mom on how she got Henry to sleep so well.  Thank you Sorensens for one hell of of good time and thanks mom and dad for parenting!
