Jane's Rockin Rapunzel Birthday
So, what better way to celebrate being 5 than to rock out with your favorite girls? My baby Jane turned the big 5 today. She is such a card. We wrapped her presents last night and she kept begging to open them and woke me up twice to see if it was time. Finally this morning she was able to open Barbie Rapunzel and Flynn Rider and her light up sketchers. Everything she needed to make her birthday wishes come true. As the first birthday guest arrived, Jane exclaimed, "She's mine". It was super cute. She kept saying that as each one came, "She's mine too". Usually friends that are coming over to play are Sam's and Sydney's I guess. So all the girls got to pick out something fun to dress up in, we had a tea party, colored on giant paper downstairs, played musical chairs, danced, put together a giant puzzle, and sang songs with Grandma! Thanks for doing my dishes like three times today mom. Your the best. We ended the night with Jane's favorite fried shrimp with both sets of grandparents. My dad insisted on giving Jane her own princess DVD player with headphones. I don't know if I will ever get her back. My favorite pic of the day is Jane with her hands high above her head, which is just moments after blowing out her candles and its just so Jane. Notice she chose to dress up in simply a black leotard and her favorite "green" jeans...classic (These jeans are worn day and night and only taken off to attend school and are promptly put back on when she gets home--they have different colored hearts on them, one of which is green) Oh, how I love this girl
