Christmas Season oh how I love thee...

Josh spending 4 hours putting lights on our tree.  He did get distracted and started replacing light bulbs, and they do look amazing!  and after all that hard work, Henry gives him a big kiss!
Sam keeping Hank occupied during the decorating process with some Christmas picture books.  I LOVE Christmas books and stories. and that smiling face...
Decorating the tree with my kids.  They absolutely love helping with this.  It is a highlight for sure.  They love all their hallmark ornaments and remembering the little ornaments they have made or from trips.  I love to let them help.  It is a fun family event.
and I may or may not move a few things after they go to bed......
 Jane loves the ornaments
This is our early Christmas present, which is.......A Malibu ski boat.  Yes Josh and I have actually been saving for this boat for over 10 years.  It really is a real life dream come true.  I can't wait to spend endless days skiing behind the tiny wake on this bad boy
The Sorensen Family Party was epic as usual.  I will have to get more pics from Desi.  I totally dig family parties, especially Christmas ones and this guy likes sugar cookies
Eli looking darling and so grown up always scouting out the food...
Taya and Henry.  Sydney sang all the verses to the Nativity Song as the kids dressed up and acted it out.  She did such an amazing job.  It was really fun and then each kid took a turn singing, dancing, or playing the piano.
Aunt Gayleen made these adorable aprons for the kids
We opened presents from Great Grandma Lona Mae and Grandpa and Grandma Sorensen today
Jane got a set of dishes that go perfectly with her new apron
I just love this.  It is so neat that my kids have such a great relationship with their great grandma...she teaches them piano lessons!!
Every year Grandma Gay fills a Christmas sock for everyone.  It is really cool.
Henry got a little tracker/mower that he wasted no time getting on and going to town
Miss Shelby looked darling as always
Jane is always wearing a hoodie...and alas she got a new one!
Then out of no where Grandpa Jim pulls out two long boxes....Sam was pretty stoked
and Syd was super surprised...as was I
I think it looks good on her...
Grandma Gay put Syd's new curlers in her hair for bed.  Cant wait for more giving sharing and spending time appreciating friends and family and our savior!
