Thompson/Sorensen Partyville

Below are the Sorensen grand kids. Millie and Taya and Sam, Jane, and Sydney. We had the Sorensen family christmas party and our house this year. It was tons of fun with all the crazy uncles.Here are some of my cousins at the Thompson Family Party. Ashlie, Megan, and Amber. This is Sam saying his poem for the talent show. He wanted to stand on his head and say it, but the floor was tile, so he opted to stand upright.

Here is Sydney after finishing her song, "I know a little round man". I had to start the song with her, but she finished it all by herself. I was so proud of both of them because they both are usually way to scared to do anything, especially Sam.

This is my Grandma Thompson. She gives a speech or tells a story every year. She is the best. She told us about a quote that she saw on the wall of the Salt Lake Temple the day she was married. It said, "multiply and replenish the earth and great shall be your joy". She has nine children, 38 grandchildren, and 52 great grandchildren. All nine of her children were married in the temple and all 23 grandchildren that are married have also been married in the temple. I would say that she has left quite a legacy and that her and my grandpa must have done something right. I remember the last party my grandpa came to, He turned to me with his gruff voice and said, "Can you believe, I started all of this?" I definatley inherited their love for parties

My grandma takes the time every year to give each of us a gift and write a special card to us. This year Josh and I's said that she is glad they we will be together forever and thanked us for sharing our children with her. She gave all the married grandchildren 9 cases of food this year. She gave each of the great grandchildren a book and wrote a special note to them, below is what she wrote in Sam's book.

Every one's favorite place to be is always on my dad's lap. As you can see those that couldn't fit are nestled close by.

I love great big family parties. It feels like Christmas. I don't get to see my cousins as much as we used to. The entire Thompson family used to take trips to Disneyworld and get together about once a month. It is so nice to be able to still get this giant group together and celebrate. I hope it lasts a long long time.
