So, I found a new blog that I love looking through. It is called shedoeshair.blogspot.com...I got it off Teri's blog, thanks! It was fun to browse the styles and try a few out on my girls over the weekend...

Cute little hearts. We also tried a larger heart variety that had ribbon twisted in with two buns for the Cinderella play, but didn't get a picture.

Crisscross action on little Jane.

Sydney did my hair in some sweet pig tails and for some reason I look like I am going to break out into, "dry bones come skipping down the valley"--that one is for you Cat! But, seriously why is my neck so
vainy?

I
recently got a new haircut, not the greatest picture of me, yes it is a self
portrait of me and the girls int he bathroom where we spend most of our time going potty. Lets see, today I think I made about 17 trips there to accompany Jane on false alarms, real alarms, and to admire her success when she took herself. oh and to clean up water messes after they had applied
tattoos and after Sydney had done
criss cross hair with Jane and Jane decided to squirt pink toothpaste on the counter.

and then there is this...........what the freak is this? Sydney wanted to cut bangs she informed me this morning and I told her that we would have Grandma Gay cut bangs after her dance recital. Later in the day I saw her taking the trash out and commented on what a great helper she was being, to which she smiled with delight and didn't look a bit guilty. She was wearing a
bandanna as a decoy and after finding hair in her room and questioning her, she replied that the hair was her dolly's and not her own, which was actually true since she had cut all her doll's hair off too. I asked her where her hair was and she said, it was in the trash I took out, "your welcome"

Oh and it was just too much trouble during our photo shoot for her to put down her blue coconut slushy from Grandma Thompson...WOW the slush machine was not broken at Sonic today...miracle! I decided to just laugh about this because after wanting to cry or lash out that is what is was and is is FUNNY...when Josh came home he and I laughed at her for a long time and Jane ran around the house mimicking me saying, "It is hideous, just hideous!" My mom's advice, next time she asks for bangs, let her have them!

I love that your kids are just as spunky as mine. I could tell story after story about little "naughty" things my two boys do day after day. At the time it seems like I might just scream, but after looking back on the day, and of course retelling the story to Dirk, it does seem somewhat humorous. Just think how boring our lives would be if we didn't have such "fun" little stinkers. Arynne is always baffled at the story's I tell about them. I know she could never imagine her girls doing these kinds of things, but I guess each child has there own "unique" personality. :) I miss talking to you. I always have such good laughs when I am around you. Give me a all and we can hang out. Maybe if we bring our kids they can cause some "real trouble". ha ha! Sarah
Kids are so funny. Good thing we have them in our lives to bring a little laughter now and again.
Are you coming for grandma grimshaw's bday in june? If so I'll bring you a sample of the white sauce so you can give it a try.
LOL - I had that song in my head while looking at that picture before I read what you wrote! I am still laughing. Tyler learned a version of "Hello how are you..." at preschool. He started singing it and I busted out laughing. He thought I was laughing at him not the song. I remember cutting bangs for myself, guess we all have to try it at once. Oh yeah, I remember a certain someone cutting my hair - sound familiar? The good ol' days!
When Aubrey was three and Hali was one and a half aubrey cut off Hali's piggy tails at the rubber band. I cried and wouldn't take pictures of Hali for a long time(she had a mullet) now I wish I had more pictures, because now that her hair is down to her bum it's kind of funny. Bangs grow fast! Sydney would be cute with her head shaved.
Loved the picture of your veiny neck. I also remember Mrs. Hoskins walking around the room singing that song to us. Did she sing it EVERY SINGLE DAY? Why?
I think at some point or another, EVERY little girl decides they want to be a beautician.(sp?) My daughter did the same thing on her brothers hair. We had to get it buzzed.
I love the cute hair do's. I am going to have to check out that blog you got them from. I just posted one I did on Tyra at www.allabouttyra.blogspot.com. It took FOREVER, but was cute! I got it from a blog linked to my page www.tommyandlorraine17.blogspot.com. It's titled "Girly Do's by Jenn". She has some really cute ideas too!
