Yes the rumors are true. Summer has come to an abrupt halt and we soaked up as much fun and sun as is humanly possible. Spent the entire week last week in Island Park in preparation for intellectual stimulation this week. It was the 1st day of the 1st grade for Sydney and she couldn't have been more excited! Sam was very nervous to start at a new school. He told me last night that he didn't know a single person in his class. He looked apprehensive, so I am hopeful that he will adjust and have fun. I want to go make a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils. Yes as you can see they are eating fruit snacks for breakfast. Don't tell my mother in law. We are adjusting to an earlier bus time!
