Sydney was baptized today and became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
Josh chose a medium jumpsuit on purpose...The smile on Syd's face in this pic will let you know how she felt about this day!
The girlfriends came out to support her..I wish I would have made all the family take a quick picture. Everyone looks so great all dressed up. Sydney had a lot of support today, and we really appreciate it. It was neat to watch her shake mine and Josh's dads and brothers hands as Josh confirmed her and gave her the gift of the Holy Ghost.
My mom made a little necklace with an uncirculated 2004 shiny new penny from the year she was born to help Sydney remember her promises. She gave a talk on baptism and also had a used and tarnished penny that she shined up to signify repentance.
I sure love this little grown up girl. She is very serious about reading her scriptures and praying. She knows what is right and that it makes her happy. Way to go Syd!
