You say its your birthday!!

Jane has been waiting for what seems like an eternity to all of us for her birthday!  We have done a lot of celebrating lately with birthdays and baptisms.  She has woken up for the last 2 weeks everyday and asked, is it my birthday yet?  We had to change the calendar to March weeks earlier just so she could see the day.  So, I told her I will tie balloons in your bedroom, so that you will be certain it is your day.
I was so exhausted on Jane's birthday.  I had recently hosted several parties and the day before was the caucus, which I had been extremely busy with, but I put on my game face.  I mean we don't want Jane to go Jan Brady on us being the middle child and the last in a string of Sorensen bdays.  The inside of this cake is much better looking that the outside as you will soon find out.  Justin B made an appearance on the cake as well!
Party people.  We had rainbow fruit kabobs, veggie cups, peanut butter squares, and of course cheese balls, which are Jane's favorite food.
Needless to say Jane was in her element.  We made cute rainbow bracelets which took about 5 min to my dismay.
This pic doesn't really capture the rainbow magic, but it was there...
Rainbow treat bags for the party guests

 A Rapunzel wig from Harmony!
I froze koolaid, which made for very fun and tasty rainbow ice
Jane had to put on her Rapunzel dress after receiving the wig...
Now that is some rainbow cake glory.  I used just about every dish in the house and threw a couple layers on the floor, sorry Orange and Indigo..
Right before snapping this shot Ella said, welcome to the marriage of the cake and Ella...I think she was supposed to be mine!
Grandma and sis playing Jane's new candy land game that evening.  We had the grandparents over for shrimp and buttered noodles at Jane's request.
Jane in her new green pajamas from Grandma Gay playing her new legos with Sam and Hank

This girl rocks!  She can make anyone smile.  She is obsessed with green and her "bigs", which are a pair of levis that she wears day and night.  We have gone through about 4 sets of "bigs" in the last few years.  After one big disappears, she just adopts another.  But, it is always jeans and she wants to wear them 24/7.
My mom found the Justin Bieber movie for her, which she has watched over and over and which is surprisingly good.  I love a good success story!  btw, you can never have too many mini Justin figures or Ken dolls.
Happy happy birthday sweetheart.  These videos capture Jane so well, I had to share!
