May I rewind?

So, its totally normal to lay on the counter and eat bacon...
These girls were really excited to give dad some presents he ordered for himself and we wrapped up!  He did several sprinkler jobs on his birthday this year....so we waited patiently!
We made a sugar free cherry chocolate cake for Grandpa's bday.  Henry ate all the cherries off.  We really love that guy.  Henry calls my parents papa nee nee.  They are a combo platter.  It is super cute cause they really like to go everywhere together.  He got nee nee from granny.  Josh's mom is nee nee Gay.  He is so stinking cute that I can't even stand it sometimes.
These two cuties performed in the annual DTDS recital.  Jane started having anxiety issues over being in her class without me, so I did a lot of hand holding, but Grandpa Jim bribed her with $50 to perform.  She did it and did an amazing bird rendition to "Rio".  He could have had her for $5, but I'm not telling...she purchased 2 ken dolls, a Justin Bieber doll, and Tinkerbell's boyfriend with her $.  I'm thinking she just may become the make out queen of Kindergarten.
Sydney and some of the "Kiss the Girl" performers.  Syd LOVES dance!  I think we are in for the long hall.
My little birdie.  Lots of people asked if we put on fake lashes, nope those are all Jane.
Daddy came to watch her perform!
and look who is finished the 4th and 2nd grade?  These two studs!  We have been having so much fun with our first few days of a rainy summer.  We have painted, published a book about a small rainbow (Syd), done manicures, made cookies and chocolate fondue, created a stuffed animal world, invented a dart dirt throwing gun (all Sam), watched movies, played games, and ran around the house.  I think we are off to a great start.  Our rule this summer is that you have to do at least 1 brain activity, 1 physical activity, and 1 thing for mom (in addition to regular stuff like your bed and laundry) every day.  It is working out nicely.
Also, Henry is not understanding why these red high heels don't go with his church outfit...What do you think?
