Well after the final debate, it was just reaffirmed to me that Obama is a socialist. It is really scary to me that he wants to take from the rich and give to the poor. "Spread the wealth" around as he calls it is extremely troubling. These businesses that he wants to tax more heavily are what fuels our economy and creates jobs. In theory it sounds nice to not give Exxon Mobile a tax break, but when you pay more taxes than anyone else, you will get a bigger break. It is like Joe the plumber says below, why should people who work hard be punished and have to pay taxes to those who don't. A large percentage of people getting a tax break under Obama's plan, currently pay no taxes, so they will recieve a fat check. It is called welfare. With the current economic situation, turning to bigger government, mandated government run health care, and redistibution of wealth by the government is a recipe for disaster.

I, of course, totally disagree but I have enjoyed the debates this year. I am working on a number of local campaigns and it is an exciting time in American politics. Amy, you should go to the Obama site and read his econ plan. It is a far cry from Socialism. Besides, if you like failing economic policies you can vote for McCain. George W. is a great man with strong character. But he is not a good president. McCain is an American Hero and an incredible public servant. He would just make a crummy president.
I am way excited to go to the polls and vote this year.

I'm going to have to disagree with your friend. Obama aka satan is scary. I do think our country is ready for a change. I'm sure that George W. Bush will someday be revered when our country really goes to hell.
