The Shack

Ok. I just finished this book and it was riveting. My mom passed it onto me. She had gotten it from her sister, Cheryle. I loved it. At first it was hard for me to get into because it is a little far out and of course I don't agree with everything it portrays, but that is the beauty of it because it is Fiction! But I highly recommend it because it is so uplifting. I believe, as portrayed in this book, that God loves us all so much and wants us to feel his love and not be racked with guilt, torment, or unworthiness. It is so easy to take God out of our lives because of our pride and our ill conceived notions about the way the He works. So, I came away from this book feeling a renewed sense of holiness, reverance, and love for God. I love how it portrayed that God just wants to have a relationship with us and wants us to bring him with us wherever we go and be apart of every mundane and simple facit of our lives.

Thanks for the recommend. I just ordered off Amazon. Keep the book selection coming. I am always looking for a good uplifting read. It's my form of therapy.
